google maps doesnt seem to match the location accurately but on this corner is : Hikaridori 2-16-9 Azabu-juban Minato-ku. easily found on tablelog (japanese yelp?). was recommended by our airbnb host as a good and reasonably priced yakitori spot. was exactly that. english menu and a great range of yakitori in a cool room.

A kamameshi restaurant run by a rice vendor. Lunch was on the 4th floor. There are also chairs in the elevator, which shows that they are kind to the elderly. Also, the set meals are surprisingly priced, which is not typical of Juban. Salt-grilled mackerel set meal is 1000 yen. Similarly, the loin cutlet set meal is also 1000 yen. The couple are in charge of the kitchen, and their son is in charge of the hall. I gave the restaurant a 3 star for lunch, but I changed it to a 5 star because it was quiet and had a great atmosphere at night. The kamameshi was really delicious, and the seasoning was good, so I was very satisfied. Next time, I would like to enjoy individual items such as pottery.

Kamameshi restaurant run by a rice shop. I had to wait 40 minutes after ordering, but it was worth the wait. I have never eaten kamameshi like this. They will tell you that just being cooked fluffy doesn't mean it's delicious. Each grain is delicious. Impressed. Although the flavor is not strong, it can be eaten without any side dishes.
