Always enjoy special Kamameshi^_^

This is a long-established kamameshi restaurant that has been in business since 1970 in a corner of a bar district where you can hear the low sounds and vibrations from under the elevated tracks every time a train passes by. I visited the restaurant where it reopened at 5pm after taking a break after lunch, and ordered the Ume Q set with a special kamameshi for the difference in price. It takes about 30 minutes, but the glass of beer, salad, and two pieces of yakitori come first, so you can enjoy the wait. Eventually, the nameko soup and kamameshi arrived in a neat wooden bucket. As soon as I lifted the thick lid, octopus, scallops, beef, and burdock were lined up in the shimmering steam. As I continued to explore the taste, I realized that everything was delicious, and it was frustrating to use a rice scoop to transfer it to a bowl. It was eye-opening to see how delicious kamameshi is.
