One of the best, if not the best Izakakya places I’ve tried during my Japan trip. The tempura eel and shrimp were delicious and so crunchy! Highly recommend the tatsuga-aged tempura chicken, will raise and set the standard for fried chicken after you have it. Really great sake selection as well. Price-wise, it’s on the higher side if you order drinks but for the amount and quality of food you get, it’s unbeatable. There is an English menu and the staff are very friendly! Highly recommend it!

Had a delicious dinner here! We sat at the bar and got to enjoy the company of the chef for our entire meal. Had some good laughs and some fun with google translate. Thank you!!!

Chef Motobori serves up great food and him and his staff were very attentive. The sake section is very good too! Can’t recommend this place enough to get a local feel for izakaya.
