This is a takeout specialty store. I bought 4 pieces of "Toge no Kama Meshi", the paper container cost 1,100 yen and the pottery cost 1,200 yen. Both containers come with pickles in a plastic case. The roads surrounding the store are very congested and the parking lot is almost full, so please be careful if you are driving. It's a great store from Hachimanyama Station 🚃

Gunma Oginoya, a kamameshi restaurant that opened last year on the side of Hachimanyama Station on the Keio Line, is a factory and lunch box store. In addition to the usual Toge no Kamameshi, we also sell lunch boxes and side dishes using Joshu specialties. It's basically a bento shop, so you can't eat in inside. Kamameshi is basically sold in easy-to-dispose paper containers instead of Mashiko-yaki pottery because it is in Tokyo. However, it seems that the usual pottery is also sold sometimes. However, even a paper container comes with a set of pickles. Due to the fact that it is both a factory and a store, the business hours and lunch box sales hours are 11:00-14:00 and 16:00-19:00, which is only open for 6 hours. However, it is a very nice store in that you can eat that kamameshi without going to Gunma.

Kamameshi was sold out before 12 o'clock. By chance, I was waiting for the item to arrive in the afternoon. I was very grateful to receive a call about the arrival of the product while I was killing time nearby. From next time onwards, I will be sure to make a reservation by phone. If you buy 1,000 yen at the supermarket next to the station, you can use the affiliated parking lot, so you don't have to worry about driving.
