Hakone, Kanagawa, Japan｜Hakone Kamameshi Soba

Very good food, very good food environment. It is a lovely soba restaurant with rather traditional table arrangement where you sit on pillows on the floor. There are tables with stools for those who may not be used to sitting on the floor as well. Make sure to take your shoes off before sitting down! Update: For those who watch it in anime, you can see it in mfg when they drive through the centre of Hakone past the train station!

Tempura with the soba noodle is a perfect match ! Highly recommended and the staffs are friendly as well!

What a special place to find!! If you are a tourist like us, this was such a great Japanese experience. From the warm grandmotherly welcome with a hot cup of tea before you have ordered to the most delicious noodle soup that had a really home cooked taste like your mother made it. You will love coming here!
