I came here to fill my stomach before returning from Chichibu. I found the location right away, but since it doesn't face the road, I only rely on the signboard. It was a store that looked like the first floor of an ordinary private building had been converted into a store. There were three tables, so a maximum of three groups of 12 people could be accommodated. Last order is 30 minutes before closing. I was saved because it was safe to slip in before it closed. One of the reasons I chose this place was that they also had walnut soup stock, so that was a big factor. I could have eaten at the hot spring facility attached to Seibu Chichibu Station, but it didn't have much of an atmosphere and it closed at 6:30 pm. There was a Zaru Soba set that included the famous Waraji Katsudon, so I ordered that. Waraji Katsudon is a standard double box with one cutlet (you can have two cutlets for an additional charge). I thought it would be thin, but it was just a normal cutlet. It's satisfying to eat. The soba noodles are delicious and the wasabi is not powdered wasabi. The walnut soup was also delicious. The staff at the restaurant are kind, and looking at the menu, it looks like you can make a variety of things. Overall, I think the cost performance is good. However, this time it was early as I was the only customer as it was just before closing time on a weekday, but I'm a little worried about what would happen if the place was full. Might take some time?
About two years ago, an acquaintance first took me to this restaurant, and now I like it so much that I stop by every time I go to Chichibu from Aichi Prefecture. After eating it, it was shocking as if an electric current had run through me. Although the batter of the cutlet was crispy, the meat was so soft that I could easily chew it with my teeth. brings out the This is my personal favorite shop in Chichibu City.
