I've been to many different restaurants, but Kikuya is my favorite. I always order chicken kamameshi and soft Fuji after dinner. Kamameshi has a gentle taste that you won't get tired of. Needless to say, the anmitsu is so delicious that I sometimes end up ordering 3 pieces as souvenirs.

At lunch time, we had the daily kamameshi. It was a filling course with anmitsu and coffee float (200 yen plus charge), but it was delicious and I finished it. It's a sweets shop, but in addition to kamameshi, they also have zosui and ochazuke menus. The inside of the store was neat and clean, and the space was comfortable.

The kamameshi was delicious, but the light taste of boiled azuki beans in Zao anmitsu and drizzled with brown sugar syrup was really delicious and I was very satisfied! The anmitsu was so delicious that I even took it home. It seems that you can also take home the kamameshi, so next time I'll take the kamameshi and anmitsu home as well! You can choose between crushed or strained red bean paste, and black or white honey.
