It was featured in a book introducing breads from all over the country, so I stopped by while traveling. Unlike regular breads, both milk bread and fresh cream bread have a richer flavor and are firmer without the burning fat taste (as is often the case with commercially available breads). The fresh cream tasted more like compound cream with a hint of milk fat than the so-called plant-based whipped cream. You'll be happy not only with the retro feel but also with the pure deliciousness of the bread.

I happened to find some delicious fresh cream bread at a supermarket in Ueda City, so I looked into it and found out that it was from the local Sasazawa Bakery. Unlike the products made by major bread makers, it had a warm and nostalgic feel to it, and had a gentle flavor that would make anyone smile. I'm sure the other breads are delicious too. I think it can probably be called Ueda's specialty.
