I visited for the crown melon roll I saw on Instagram. … but arrived at 11:30 on weekdays and it was already sold out. It was too sweet to read... There were many delicious-looking sweets, but I had plans to visit another sweet shop, so I carefully selected and purchased them. I chose Mori no Shu and Mori no Tayori, plum robe, and lemon cake, which will be filled with cream after ordering. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Especially the lemon cake, I definitely want to buy it next time. The male clerk (maybe the owner?) who served me was very nice. I would definitely like to visit again to revenge the crown melon roll.

There are many delicious Japanese sweets shops in Morimachi, and this is the one I stop by when I go there. My favorite cream puff was not baked yet due to bad timing. Last time, they made the custard cream on the spot and it was freshly made and very delicious. When I won the Morimachi Road Race, I was very happy to receive an assortment of baked donuts as a supplementary prize. There are several flavors, and this time I bought Mikkabi mandarin orange and Sencha. Children also seemed to like it because of its gentle sweetness. I forget the name, but the waffle sandwiched between crushed red bean paste and fresh cream is also delicious. Oguni Shrine is nearby, so I took it there as a souvenir. Although it was voluminous, it had a light texture so I was able to eat it easily. Is it because it was made by a Japanese confectionery shop? All Western sweets go well with tea!
