Fujinomiya, Shizuoka, Japan｜ハンプトン

Wonderful little bakery in Fujinomiya. They have a great range, Cafe au lait cream buns, Almond French toast, an amazing looking chocolate danish… The staff are friendly, too. They gave us some great recommendations! I’m definitely going to come back again soon.

It feels like a small country bakery where the owner starts making his own bread starting at 5am. Since the small shop is run by a husband and wife, there is a slight delay in responding to customers when there is only one shop owner. While the price of wheat is soaring, I feel that products in the 100 yen range are very delicious. I eat all kinds of things when I go to concerts and other places, but when I warm up the salt bread here in the toaster and eat it with Sarutahiko Coffee's Daikichi Blend, it's delicious and makes me feel happy.

It's not a big shop, but the prices are reasonable, and all the breads are delicious. As everyone has said, salt bread is recommended.
