Chino, Nagano, Japan｜Kalpa Bakery

I was camping nearby and was looking for various shops to go shopping when I came across this store. I went there at opening time, and there were already people waiting, so I guess it's popular. The bread I mainly use is hard bread, which I like. I was so greedy that I bought it because I was told that they would cut everything to half size. When I got home, I cooked up some of the leftover bread and ate it, but the original flavor of the ingredients was strong and it turned out to be a very rich breakfast. I wish it was nearby. A bakery that seemed like that.

When I visited before 11 o'clock, the brioche was just about to be baked that day, and I was able to purchase freshly baked brioche. Of course it's delicious freshly baked, but it was also really delicious when reheated in the toaster oven. At first, I didn't know where the store was, so I walked past it and got lost, but a neighbor was kind enough to put up a sign pointing me to the store, and I was able to get there safely.

The scones are delicious. The focaccia also has the perfect scent of olive oil, herbs, and saltiness, so you can keep eating it forever. Bread has a unique yeast (?) taste that is addictive. Both of the shopkeepers are very personable and I love this shop. When I go to Chino for work, I try to go as much as possible.
