Matsumoto, Nagano, Japan｜Coloris BREAD&LIFE

We stumbled across this cafe and I am so glad we did. The melon bread was incredible; it was soft yet had a slightly crispy exterior. We tried a number of savoury pastries as well and it didn't disappoint. The only downside was that we couldn't sit inside the cafe and eat.

Fine bakery with great stuff — and also, amazingly a small play area for kids (but big enough to have a tiny play kitchen, and some books).
