Gamagori, Aichi, Japan｜ミシマパン

I had Uzumaki bread for the first time! My impression is that it tastes simple and nostalgic. It has a nostalgic taste with a firm texture similar to the crust of bread sprinkled with sugar, which I used to eat when I was in elementary school. It's hard to describe, but it's like a light snack that you can keep eating in your car. From now on, this is a gem that I will definitely buy when I come to Aichi!

In the past, bread was placed in a small space at the entrance of the factory. Visited for the first time in about 35 years, The store was clean. Of course ^^; I like to eat it while unwrapping the swirl bread.

I saw it on TV and thought, ``I want to try it!'' So I came here for the second time after going last year. They come from other prefectures to buy. Five crunchy and chewy Uzumaki buns cost 210 yen. Frankly speaking, it's worth it. I think the most delicious way to eat it is to unwrap it and eat it crisply. (Similar to Baumkuchen) It is said to be a soul food type bread from Gamagori City. (It's also apparently served in school lunches. I'm jealous.) I think it's a good sweet bread for a 3 o'clock snack or breakfast. Plain Uzumaki bread is good, but I personally like pumpkin flavored Uzumaki bread. If I ever pass through Gamagori, I will definitely stop by again.
