More Comments at Google MapMy favorite restaurant in this area is Poplar Tei, but since it was way past lunch time, I decided to visit this bakery. Deli breads and sweet breads are lined up tightly in the not-so-large store. I'd say it's a local bakery rather than a full-fledged boulangerie, but the variety of products is so huge that it's hard to choose (๑´ڡ`๑) Although it was still too early to call it evening, some products were discounted, and those who purchased bread also received free bread ears. This is the type of store you want close to home! I bought a bargain set containing three types of bread and a round bread sandwich for 540 yen. I think it's quite worth it. I think the food is delicious and the bakery has a good value for money. Even though the price is not much different from prepared breads from supermarkets or convenience stores, the feeling of satisfaction is amazing. There are many parks nearby where you can relax, such as Tama Central Park and Aokiba Park, so I think it's a good idea to buy some as a snack while spending time at the park.
As I was waiting to enter the ramen shop next door, I saw something that looked like bread through the glass, and I thought, Wait, there was a gyoza shop next door? I'm sorry, but I didn't realize until now that there was a bakery next to the store😧. So, I used it for the first time out of curiosity and purchased Neapolitan Coppe Half (118 yen including tax), Bacon Epi (162 yen including tax), Round Maple (280 yen including tax), and Pumpkin Cookie (250 yen including tax?) The epi was at Central Park, and the round was at breakfast the next day. My first impression is that this place is not an exaggeration, but that you can enjoy happiness here at a low price. To be honest, the store is small and not very fancy, but I think it's a good store with delicious bread.
You can choose the flavor when ordering koppepan. A fragrant and chewy coppépan. The Ogura red bean paste had just the right amount of sweetness and went perfectly with the bread! I would like to add whipped cream next time. I also bought curry bread, it was very mild and delicious with lots of ingredients and not spicy. I'm looking forward to seeing what I buy next. There is no parking lot (maybe one car in front of the store?), but the road in front of the store is wide, so you can probably park on the street for a while.
