As a Coeliac traveling in Japan I was very excited to find this bakery online! I went first thing in the morning (quite a trip by train) and bought a huge bag of treats to try! It was the only chance I got to eat bread products in my three week trip so it was very exciting. Highlights were the red bean steamed bun, custard tarts, red bean bread, lemon and poppy seed bread and pumpkin donut! If you are gluten free do yourself a favour and make sure you visit - a trek, but worth it! I went early in the morning as I heard they sometimes sell out and was rewarded with still steaming breads. Note that there is no eating area so you will probably have to take your haul back to your accomodation to enjoy.

Highly recommended. You can even 'reserve' or preorder for a specific day. Reason being, either the baked goods go fast, or he only makes a selected amount so nothing is wasted. The apple cinnamon donuts are fantastic and the rice bread makes good French toast, though small. *unfortunately, I can’t stop by anymore. They now close at 15:00 :(

This bakery makes the best gluten free (GF) bread in the world (rated by me), if you are celiac it is well worth the trip. We went twice on our week in Tokyo and everything we tried was delicious. If you know a better GF bakery let me know. They have over twenty variations to try. Just a 400m or 6 minutes walk, North exit from Musashi Sakai station. Take a look at Kichijoji while you are out this side of Tokyo.
