Shinkoiwa's bakery was renewed this year. I went to the store to buy some bread and go home. The Sunday I stopped by was the "Children's Day" version. It seems that there are cute breads for children. As you enter the store, the aroma of freshly baked bread wafts through the air. Lined up with various side dish breads Cute animal bread such as rabbits, bears, lions, etc. This time I bought hedgehog bread, which I fell in love with at first sight. From standard bread to mini potato chips. The unusual-looking hedgehog bread is a new product for summer. The reproduction of chocolate's round eyes and firmness is amazing! The interesting thing is the lemon red bean paste. With the slightly refreshing flavor of the lemon that has been kneaded into it. The refreshing sweetness feels like summer ^^ Mini Jagachi is grilled potatoes with cheese. A popular side dish bread with lots of filling. A big, flaky potato with melty cheese! Full of volume and delicious★ For some reason, I have never eaten the standard anpan. I think I'll stop by again and buy some.
The bakery closest to the north exit of Shin-Koiwa Station. The store will be renovated and reopened at the end of April 2021. Before the renovation, it had the impression of an old downtown bakery, but it has become a modern and stylish bakery. Corona measures are taken and the bread is in the showcase or individually wrapped. How to show case is good, and every bread looks delicious. Compared to before the renovation, the number of products has decreased, and some of the breads have a different manufacturing method. It is small overall and feels like it has been changed to a luxury route. The croissant is large, but it's a pity that the price is in the 300 yen range and you can't buy it easily. The popular bean paste donuts and anpan are consistently delicious. My personal recommendation is "fig and walnut". There is also a booming maritozzo. After the renewal, the word "MATOBA" disappeared from the store name. I wonder if it's independent from matoba bean paste?
