More Comments at Google MapIt is located on the 1st floor of the Metropolitan Hotel at the west exit of Ikebukuro Station. It is famous for its Suica penguin cake. Please note that the types of Suica penguin cakes available vary depending on the season and day, but what do you have today? There is a sense of excitement. The one I always have is Suica Penguin Pudding. I recommend the fruits Bavarois and Maritozzo in the photo. Not only does it look good, but it also tastes delicious. Wooden spoons and forks that are SDG-friendly cost 20 yen, so if possible, you'll want to prepare your own.
We had Ikebukuro curry bread and a special galette side dish. The curry bread was made with the hotel's curry, so it had chunky meat in it and was the most delicious. The galette was also delicious.
Purchased Pandomi White. 330 yen per loaf. I was surprised at the price, which was at or below the same price as a chain bakery. The taste is delicious. My 3-year-old, who usually likes a sweet bread stick for breakfast but leaves the rest behind, ate 6 slices of this bread, including his ears. Another thing that makes it similar to raspberry pie is the crunchy texture, the less sweetness of the fruit, and the unique flavor. There were different flavors, so I'll try something else next time. The stick-shaped tomato bread and small chocolate brioche were also delicious. I ate a lot after that. Pandomi Shiro (¥330) → I always get it cut into 6 pieces with ears. The ears are chewy and delicious. Pain au chocolat (\190) → Children like it. Melon bread (¥220) → Children like it. An butter (¥180) → The butter melts when heated in the toaster, so I like it as is. It's made from French bread dough, but it's delicious as is. Shiso bacon (¥320) → I sliced it and then toasted it in the toaster. The bacon is delicious. The perilla flavor is not too strong and has just the right flavor. Grilled cheese with sweet soy sauce (¥220) → I warmed it up in the toaster and ate it, but the first bite had a burnt cheese taste, and as I continued to eat it, I could feel the dough soaked in sweet and salty soy sauce. I wonder if I'll want to eat it again when I forget. Prices include tax. amazing!
