More Comments at Google MapWalking through the neighborhood near Musashi Shinjo station and stumbled upon this little bakery. First reactions: smelled incredible from the city street; must be good due to the line; cute little space for a take away bakery. Impressions after eating the first bake good: God damn this is GOOD!! My wife and I shared a Gateau Basque, an almond six berry tart, and an almond tart. The tarts were delicious but the Gateau Basque, which tasted like a giant cookie stuffed with berry and custard goodness, stole my heart, tastebuds, and stomache. Delicious.
A great bakery located in a residential area about 2 minutes walk from Musashi-Shinjo Station on the JR Nambu Line. From classic breads like croissants to unique breads that you won't find anywhere else, all of them are elaborately made and very delicious. I imagine there are customers no matter when I go, whether it's a weekday or Saturday. Since it is a small space, there is no eat-in or parking lot. Recently, they have started opening on Sundays (on days when they sell bread devised by the staff) on an irregular basis, so I think it's a good idea to check their Instagram before going. Personally, I like Lodev and croissants. Recommended.
Carefully made, it looked good, had a good texture, and I could feel the deliciousness with all five senses! Part of the fun is seeing the delicious breads change with the seasons 😊
