I came across this bakery while walking in the not so popular Kohumbotsu neighborhood, which is around a couple of miles from Jiyugaoka which is relatively more popular locals and tourists. This a nice little bakery that seems to be very popular with the locals. Mostly I visited this over the weekends and it is always busy with the locals stopping by. There is no place to sit inside. They have many options to choose from and I found their bread to be reasonably good. They also have a separate gluten free bakery across the road from the main one. Their staff is super nice and were helpful in explaining the ingredients as I have specific allergies. I would highly recommend to try this place.

This place is always busy especially at lunch time. I stopped by after the rush, and they didn’t have a huge selection left, but I went with the prosciutto and cheese sandwich as well as the cheese bread. The sandwich in particular was fantastic, and I’ll be back to have another one. I really want to try some of their other offerings too. A little one the expensive side, but seems the quality is a tad above similar shops.
