This is a must try when you’re in Hakone. Incredible beef bun soup, really enjoyed it and was filling enough for a mid afternoon meal :) The atmosphere was inviting and the beef was tender and soft. Soup was tasty as well and very flavourful

Well worth the walk up the hill from the station. The beef bun was delicious as were the French style patisseries. Service was friendly with the menu in English at the counter. Only 8 seats, but with a bench outside as well. Our hot food was kept on hold and served fresh to us once a seat became available. They accept card payment.

What better breakfast than good coffee (or tea) and stew-inna-bun! Nice start to our day on the Hakone trail, very friendly staff who held back our hot food until we managed to get seated (only 8 seats) however people move through quickly and their baked goods are amazing too! They take credit cards (most places here are cash only…) which is useful.
