I bought the ``Junsei Castella'' from ``Hare Pan (Hare Tokidoki Pan)'' which I was interested in. The exterior and interior of the store were beautiful, and the staff served customers with smiles. Perhaps because of this, the customer base seemed to be good, and people lined up keeping a good distance from the person in front. Since it was about to close, many items were sold out, but I bought the ``Pure Raw Castella Plain Custard Cream'', which is a limited quantity of pure raw castella with cream sandwiched between them. The product name for pure raw castella seems to be "Kimi to Whip." I waited until I got home and chilled it in the refrigerator before eating it. It seems recommended to warm pure castella in the microwave or rebake it in a toaster. If it's an item that has cream in it, it's an option to cool it down. As for the taste, it is delicious and does not disappoint. It felt like a moist and heavy soufflé. The custard cream has just the right amount of sweetness and is very satisfying. You may have your own taste, but I give it a ★5. The price of 780 yen (tax included) may seem high for a snack, but I think it's just right as a souvenir. The paper bag is also cute and has a turquoise color. Due to the coronavirus pandemic and the situation in Ukraine, the prices of raw materials such as wheat have skyrocketed, so I think it's a good deal even at the current price.
