(Review in English by Frenchman) My favourite bakery in the area. This bakery offers continental breads as well as a selection of Japanese sweets. The French baguette and batard bread are both excellent, fresh, right amount of crispiness and air in the dough. It keeps really well until next day. The "pain aux noix" (walnut bread) is great too. Pain au chocolat (chocolatine, really) are also very good, so are croissants. Prices are very decent and above all the couple running the place are delightful. They occasionally drop a free bread as service. I'm really glad I found this place near where I live. Careful: turning up after noon or 5PM will make it hard to get your hands on baguettes so either come early in the day or reserve.

The Town Bakery. It was also featured in "oz magazine" released this spring. We have a wide variety of breads that can be enjoyed by a wide range of generations, from small children to adults. The rustic taste is somehow nostalgic. There are some expensive bakeries in the Motomachi area, but this one is reasonably priced. The walnut rings are baked in a ring mold and have a perfect balance of Danish pastry, walnuts, and poppy seeds. My whole family is a fan. The walnut ring can also come with a gift box and wrapping paper, so it is also recommended as a gift. Payment can be made using cash and transportation ICs. Visiting the store by car may be a little inconvenient as there is no parking lot. All of the staff are kind and caring about the children and chatting with me about various things, which makes me feel at ease every time I go there. The aisles will fill up with strollers, but you can fit them in. There is no parking lot, so I think it would be better to use a private parking lot.

An interesting shop that combines a Japanese sweets shop and a bakery. There are so many sandwiches and they're all so delicious it's hard to choose. A ``usable bakery'' with reasonable prices and suitable for everyday use. In the evening, a variety of service sets are prepared on a tray, so don't miss that. The rabbits on the packaging of the Japanese sweets are cute, and they are useful as souvenirs.
