RUN, don’t walk! Smile Bakery 9603 is absolutely worth a short trip from central Tokyo! While it looked like all of the locals had their own favorites, in my opinion the rusks are one of the “must haves”. Especially the ones made with croissants and melon pans. They also have one of the best curry pans I’ve eaten with a spicy version that is actually spicy! Cute shop, tasty bread, and there’s even a couple spots to sit in case you can’t wait to dig in. 10/10 🌟

The store is located in a residential area, but please be careful as it is in the middle of a dead-end road. Apparently there are two parking lots nearby, but you might not know unless you go to the store. The roads are narrow and there is a lot of traffic, so if you are driving, we recommend checking where you can park. (I went with my family, so I parked nearby and bought it) It looks like a home/store, but the atmosphere is very stylish. There is no sales floor, and orders are placed in a showroom-like setting. This time I purchased the following. ・Croissant (1st most popular) ・Crispy melon bread (2nd place in popularity) ・Custard cream bread (3rd place in popularity) ・Croissant chocolate ・Croissant daman (the one with almonds) ・Milky France ・Baked curry bread (one medium spicy and one sweet) ・Croquette burger The price ranges from 130 yen to 200 yen, which is a reasonable price.
