Otsu, Shiga, Japan｜Pain Prunelle (パン プリュネル)

Best bread I have had in Japan thus far. We got the baguette and chocolate croissant as well as other pastries. My children were ecstatic to have bread like we do at home. Great crust with an open crumb. Bakery was clean and had a great atmosphere. We ended up going three times in 2 days. Highly recommend!!!

We bought many items, sat in the car to eat them all, and went back for more. Amazing baguette. Never found anything else like it in Japan. True French style. Will be back.

I stopped by on a whim while driving, but it turned out to be a big hit. It tastes like bread and is delicious! The Danish pastry is crispy and exquisite. Although the price was high, our family was extremely satisfied with it, and we devoured it overnight until we had enough for the next morning. I want to stop by again.
