My favourite local bakery! Family-friendly space with an area for young children to play and cafe style set-up so you can enjoy your bakery goods with free, self-service coffee. I love the seasonal baked goods they offer for a certain time limit. Looking forward to the berry bread this Autumn! Currently, they have baked cheesecakes on offer. Those are amazing! They are closed on Mondays. Also, they have half-price off their products from 7:00 PM till closing. Top tip, just line up outside and wait for staff to open the doors at 7...

If you go early enough in the morning they sell a wide variety of breads and pastries. At night, 30min before closing they also have a half price sell of all the left over bread. That means everything is baked fresh every day and tastes wonderful. You also get free soup or coffee with any purchase.

I’ve had Koisan for breakfast, for lunch, for dinner, from afternoon tea to midnight snacks. All the freshly baked goods are between ￥100 to ￥300 and most things in store are half off 30 minutes before closing (19:00 - 19:30). I personally recommend the 塩パン (Salt bread) and the 自家製牛肉ゴロゴロカレーパン, their beef curry bread.
