Mizu yokan, warabi mochi... Most of the Japanese sweets you'll want as the weather gets hotter can be taken home frozen. It was thawed by the time I got home, so I tried it, and it was absolutely delicious. It wasn't watery at all, but rather the flavor was concentrated and really delicious. The castella was also delicious. Fluffy and full of eggs. But it's not a sponge cake, it's just a castella cake. I only bought two small portions, but now I regret that I should have bought a whole loaf... The store owner's response was very polite and made me feel comfortable. thank you very much.

The red bean paste here is elegant and exquisite. When I visited for the first time about 20 years ago, the grandmother of the store, who was already over 80 years old at the time, suggested I try the kusa mochi and told me that real red bean paste is not black, but light purple in color. The price was raised because they use adzuki beans from Hokkaido, but I have no complaints. I'm impressed by the sincere taste of the careful work. Long live grandma!

Hyakuju Manju was very delicious. It's lightly sweetened and has plenty of elegant bean paste.
