Very thick broth which you can see chunks of pork fat floating as well as near dissolved pork sinking to the bottom. The chashu is one of the best, very tender and flavourful. The portion is very generous (this is not a light meal by any definition). I had 3 full mouthful of bean sprouts before finding other stuff in my bowl. Would recommend the spicy version.

Hearty bowl of ramen that is awesome in both soup and dry version. Free add-ons of ramen for the 2nd round.

One of the best Tonkotsu (Pork Bone Broth) Ramen in Taipei. The broth was really thick and creamy, leaving that fragrant after taste with every spoonful. Just like many popular ramen places, be prepared to wait in line, especially since this place only has a few couple of seats, about 7 bar stool seats and a small table that fits three people at the back. Having to wait during summer was a huge pain, but aside from that, there is really nothing to complain. The place is run only by a Japanese cook, with the help of a Taiwanese in the small kitchen, who were super friendly and efficient. They have a third person who helps with the queue and serving tables, etc. They offer three different types of noodles: their classic, thin and wide noodles. It really comes down to preference. They have four different types of broth; I personally had the spicy one (辛未), which for anyone who likes spicy, this will definitely suit you. Additionally, their original one (徹濃) definitely has more of a fragrant pork bone flavor. Will definitely come again if there’s the chance; probably on a weekday, when there is less people queuing.
