Rating: 5 / 5 stars 🤩 : service, speed, quality of food 🤧 : chilli a tad too salty TDLR; why are you still considering? Visited on a Wednesday at roughly 11am and was glad that the queue was still fairly manageable. There were roughly 10 others ahead of me at the door, but there were easily another 10-20 waiting in the restaurant for a seat. Whilst waiting, you are handed an order chit, where you place and customise your order. The basic ramen is fairly no-frills, and you add extra condiments, topping, or ingredients as you wish. Once in, you are generally seated within 5 mins. The wait might be longer if you come in a large group and insist on sitting together. Your chit is collected once seated, and the ramen is served within the next 5 mins. An empty cup is provided and you may fill it using a tap mounted on each table. It is a very chill experience - no disturbance or interruption as you are nestled in your own cubicle, facing a rattan blind. The ramen is probably amongst the best I’ve had. No odd smell from the noodles, and the broth was perfectly balanced. As I enjoy my food really spicy, I had requested level 10 spiciness which resulted in a large lump of chilli powder placed in my bowl. Whilst it added some heat, it made the broth fairly salty too. I wish I could enjoy the spice without a compromise in the flavour balance. Worth noting that the broth contains milk - which might cause a stir for our lactose intolerant friends.

This ramen shop is one of the famous ramen chains in Japan and it has made its way into Taiwan. Despite being a franchise, the taste and experience is still very similar. Even how you sit and the restaurant layout is the same as it is in Japan. Their ramen still tastes pretty good and authentic. Their menu has English and they accept local and foreign credit cards.

It tastes delicious, exactly the same as what I had in Japan! You need to queue for about 20 minutes. This Japanese ramen shop is much better than Taiwanese ramen!
