A 29-year-old engineer from a Japanese company left Taiwan and went to Tokyo for two years to realize his dream. Put down your body and start practicing basic skills from the dishwasher. From making soup, hiring staff, and planning dishes, they all have their own ideas. Because it was too late to change careers, I worked harder than others, and because I was not in an undergraduate department, I had to do it myself and not fake the hands of others. He loves to eat ramen, and has eaten ramen in Taipei, Hsinchu, and Japan, using his sharp sense of taste to realize his dream. Whether the food is good or not is a matter of opinion, but I admire entrepreneurs who stick to their original intentions. The old magazines in the store and posters from the Showa era are all genuine, not large-scale output! It’s all the owner of Xiao Lu who went to old bookstores in Japan to dig for treasures; all the tableware and soup bowls are from Japan, for no reason, just to present the authentic Japanese taste. The soup is divided into animal pie and dried fish pie, which makes the soup taste more fresh and sweet. Little 6 hand-brewed Geisha coffee for us to drink, and told his story of making soup with a smile on his face. He proudly said that the taste in the store is the most suitable for single-origin coffee and red wine! The eyes are shining, there is no trace of fatigue, and the store is full of enthusiasm. Such a cross-border ramen shop makes people feel really crazy. 🐸Aiwa Comments: The noodles are springy, and the soup is refreshing, not too salty. The char siu pork that emphasizes the meaty texture is unfortunately not my favorite. I prefer soft and tender char siu pork, but the overall taste is very Japanese, and I personally like it.

The ramen soup is rich and the noodles are delicious! The Tang Yang chicken is even better!

Good authentic ramen. The noodle and the flavorful broth are matched well. I usually go for the shoyu ramen but it’s broth is on the oily side compared to what I’m used to. Cozy setting…there is usually no wait time (due to COVID??), which is also a plus. Patron are expected to order and pay before the meal. This is a bit of nuisance if one is in the habit of adding orders (e.g. more drinks). Staff is not always very welcoming but the delicious ramen and chicken karaage makes up for it.
