This is a shop run by a pleasant owner who makes you want to compare him to ``Junji Takada of the North Sea.'' Contrary to the light talk, the food is of the highest quality. It's my favorite sushi restaurant in Sapporo, and I always visit it when I'm on business several times a year. The fresh and flavorful seasonal ingredients, the rich and ingenious snacks, the hand-crafted sushi, and the host's conversation are all so great that you can't help but linger and drink too much. You can sit alone or with friends at the counter, or you can enjoy a leisurely meal with just your acquaintances at a table in the back. I love ordering omakase, drinking with the snacks that pop out one after another, and enjoying a manzai-like conversation with my husband. I'll come visit you again. -Revisited/added notes/added photos I revisited Yoshioka on a snowy night. As usual, I enjoyed conversation with the owner in the warm interior, and thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food and drinks. This time, I will write about what I noticed again and how to enjoy Yoshioka. [Points I noticed] - Regulars and first-time customers alike are treated equally. I had a good impression that he told stories in the same way and entertained me. - There are many types of sake and plum wine that you can enjoy. The kind wife in charge of serving the meals will be happy to help you with any questions you may have about alcohol. - It's small and there are no noisy customers, so you can spend a relaxing time. It's a cheerful place to have a conversation, but it's not a place to make a fuss or bring your children. [How to enjoy] - When ordering something to drink for the first time, it's a good idea to say, ``What do you want to do today?'' You can just eat sushi, or enjoy a selection of snacks before switching to sushi. - There are no menus with prices written on them, so if you're concerned about your wallet, you can order something like ``a moderate amount of snacks and sushi for ●● yen.'' - It's OK to look at the toppings box or counter and say, "I want to eat this and this way." They will respond to your request. I don't like compliments, so one thing to keep in mind is that it's a popular restaurant with limited seating, so you might not be able to get in even if you show up on the same day. Reservations are required. We don't purchase a large amount of toppings, so the later we get, the less toppings we have. The prices are of course higher than those at izakayas and conveyor belt sushi restaurants, so it's better to have some extra money in your wallet. (The two of us drank a lot, snacked a lot, and ate sushi, totaling around 30k)

In addition to sushi, a la carte dishes such as sashimi are also exquisite. I take my hat off to the general's light talk and skill.

A small shop with a counter and table seats in the back. The general is bright and fun to talk to. Ingredients are fresh. Not only the nigiri, but also the snacks are delicious. It is a shop where you can enjoy seasonal things deliciously.
