Super high quality restorant. The best ever food and service. A unique experience.
I thought I'd like to have Japanese food for dinner, so I went out to the pedestrian deck at the north exit of Tachikawa Station, and when I looked to the upper left, I saw a sign for "Ganko" on the top floor of a building. Come to think of it, I thought Ganko was a Japanese restaurant, but I had never been there before, so I decided to visit the restaurant on the 8th floor of the building. When the elevator arrived, I noticed the atmosphere of the store and thought, ``Wow, it looks pretty good, but it seems expensive.'' Take off your shoes and leave them in a locked shoe box. The seats that the two of us visited were by the window, overlooking the garden even though they were on the roof of the building, and were box seats that were 3+3 in size and could seat 6 people. The customers were a little older, and there were private rooms that could be used for banquets. Appetizers will only be served to those who have ordered alcohol. The food was delicious, especially the sushi. Wasabi is weak. After sushi, I wanted to drink green tea, but it wasn't on the menu (sorry if I overlooked it), so when I asked if they had tea, they gave me hojicha for free. All customer service is courteous. It seems that some of the women are wearing Japanese kimonos, some of the men are wearing happi coats, and some of them are wearing the attire of waiters at a Western restaurant (garcon apron?). I think the price is good considering the quality of the food, store layout, and customer service. It was a very satisfying meal. I regret not taking a photo.
