A conscientious sushi restaurant that doesn't seem to be in Kichijoji. I think they can afford this price because they are family-run and located far from the station. The top nigiri course is 5,000 yen (as of February 2020) Approximately 13 pieces are served. I was surprised that this price also included prawns, bafun sea urchin, conger eel, etc. The price is somewhere between that of a mass-market store and a high-end store, but I think the ingredients and the skill with which they handle it are top-notch. The snacks include raw oysters (from Akkeshi), grilled cod milt, and grilled puffer fish, all of which are of a high standard. The monkfish hotpot, available only in winter, is also amazing. The chef is the only one cooking, so it takes a while to serve the food when it's busy, but it's not a big deal as the value is excellent and the customer service is good.
