One of the best experiences I've had. I have had meals there with many chef friends from starred restaurants and Matsuzaki's cuisine always made quite an impression. Great products, top-notch dishes, very creative associations, extensive Nihonshu and Shochu list. It's my go-to place when in Shimo-Kitazawa. I saw a couple of 1 star reviews by foreigners who were denied entry, I'm a foreigner and the staff was always very kind to me. I do speak fluent Japanese though.

If you go to a delicious Japanese restaurant in Shimokitazawa, "Matsu" will always be mentioned. Of course, it is a shop that can be used for dates, entertainment, and everyday use. I asked a person I work with to launch a project. Starting with the appetizer, everything I received was delicious. The golden sea bream and spring cabbage with sea urchin sauce, crab miso grilled on a ceramic plate, crab shumai, mackerel and other sashimi were also very delicious.
