Visited this place again after 4 years. Chef owner still remembers us and food was as good as it was. Last time we tried dinner and this time we tried lunch, both are amazing and lunch is even better value for money

Nine-dish lunch set is just amazing. Starting with crab broth inside a yuzu container our adventure begins. Followed by Sashimi of yellowtail and flounder, and the soup of sea bream with onion pieces, chefs explain every Omakase dish in English with the help of Google translation, and listen to us for the feedback. The crab shell is full of all crab legs and meats, and tastes very delicious. We will definitely visit again if we have another chance to Kyoto!

Great little gem! This restaurant is run by a great chef together with his wife. It's a real Japanese culinary experience to eat here, everything is pure and fresh. For the smallest diner menu, you pay 8000¥. You also have more expensive menus or you can order phantom crab à la carte, a real spectacle! The lunch menus are less expensive and probably better value. It's not the cheapest you'll eat in Kyoto, but it's definitely worth it! We were joking with the owners that we wanted to call Michelin, so they could come and rate them. In our opinion probably worth at least one 🌟!
