Do give them a call before coming to make reservations as the crowd is very unpredictable to prevent disappointment 🥲 Flavours wise everything is freaking amazing. 🤩 Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the vegetable spring rolls and pan fried buns. Would say portion wise is really small. But it's good enough not to over eat. Average cost per dish is $6. Complimentary homemade Chinese chrysanthemum tea w no sugar inside in a huge flask 😍 really feels so homey I love it 🥰
Newly discovered a Shanghai restaurant [Qiang] The owner is from Shanghai. He has been in Slope for 30 years. He used to be an engineer. He started to do catering by chance more than ten years ago, and the customers praised him. The owner bought this store in AMK and opened it in Shanghai. The pan-fried buns are very authentic, the bean sprouts are very good, very tender and refreshing, and shredded pork with wild rice stems is rarely seen. As a Shanghainese, I am very happy to eat authentic Shanghai cuisine in Singapore
Restaurant owners were really friendly. But there is only 8 tables so its better to reserve in advance. The 生煎包 (must try) and 小笼包 takes some time to make since its handmade, so if you are coming in big groups, be sure to get the first person who arrives at the table to order it immediately at one go. Went there on a saturday around 2pm without reservation and it was wasnt crowded. I liked the pork rib and chicken cube noodles and it was served pretty quickly.
