Have been a regular devotee of their tempura set for the past 5 years. It's basically sushi teh quality at hawker center prices. So reasonably priced that you can patronize every day. The boss is very hard-working and friendly don't be taken aback when he talks loud because the environment is noisy. I also recommend their salmon dishes which are very popular. Do visit early as there will be a take out queue that form during peak hours. Highly recommended and a culinary gem that showcase the best of Japanese food at down to earth pricing. 💎

Tried the salmon bento and fish bento. The sheer length of the salmon slice is impressive, and while the regular fish looks slightly more modest, both of them tasted fresh, flavourful, while not being too salty. The amount of fish to rice ratio was great. The tempura carrot was still crispy at the end of my meal and the soup also wasn't too salty or diluted. Probably the best Japanese food I've tried, especially at this very affordable price point of $10.50 for two bentos. Highly recommend.

Though chicken texture can be more tender. Goes well with the rice. Bento Set 4* - 1 well fried carrot tempura, small portion salad in Mayonnaise and a bowl of hot, well flavored savory miso soup.
