Singapore｜Greenland Vegetarian Restaurant

First time trying and I'm amazed by their mutton curry, fried mushrooms and the chilli sauce that came with it! Their rice is cooked perfectly too! Love their robot. It sang Happy birthday to one of the customers while I was dining in. Simply adorable 🥰

Have been going to Greenland for decades, and even today the food is affordable (surprising in 2023!) and good. You won't find such pricing for a traditional vegetarian Chinese restaurant in Singapore today. Chefs and the interior design has changed multiple times but still open and spacious. Have enjoyed multiple family lunch and dinners over the years. The food is not oily and salty, and there's some staples like the curries and vegetarian fish that are our go to orders. The place is short handed like in most f&b in Singapore, but the staff are the most accommodating.

In general , food are delicious with some tasting like meat even though they are not . Butter Cream Hericium is pretty good . As for the prices , they look expensive at the start but when the total bill comes, you realised prices are inclusive of GST and they don’t charge service charge which makes it affordable . Located just besides the 九皇爷 temple , so you can anticipate crowds on the lunar 9th month period .
