Singapore｜Ivins Peranakan Restaurant (Heartland Mall Kovan)

1st time dining there and was pleasantly surprised! Almost every dish was delicious. We ordered the set for 2 with 1 additional dish for 2 adult & 1 teen. The portions were enough. Our favs were the beef rendang & honey pork. Desserts are a must try too! Overall, our family enjoyed the dinner and it's also not too expensive as well. Place is small & so seats are limited.

Been patronizing them for years and the food is consistent and super delicious. I find their dishes give me the feeling of home (im not nonya 🤣) and always warms my heart whenever I have a meal there. I especially recommend the soups (hee peow or bakwan), they are both really light yet flavorful, just like homecooked. 🥰

One of the oldest name in casual dining Peranakan setting and its a household brand to all Peranakan food lovers. We ordered a Fish Head Curry and Chap Cai for two, after struggling between ala carte and set menu. Set menu looks good too with all the signature dishes set in a bite size portions. Recommend first timers to go for set to start off your Peranakan foodie adventure. The curry fish head was appealing with gravy and large cuts of the vegetables but the fish was stale. The restaurant manager hear our feedback, investigate and made an new portion for us. I'm very thankful for the gesture and will definitely be back for more. Thumbs up 👍
