Singapore｜F.I.C. (Fried Ice Cream & Viet Bites)

Great little cafe with affordable food with food that easily out match the pricing by a mile! The coffee and vermicelli bowl were the highlight dishes for me! The Viet rolls and pizza came in a close second. Despite not being the top rated in my book, every single dish that came out of the kitchen was beautifully presented and satisfying to eat. No complaints in the food department! The service was excellent as well!! The owner gladly and proudly introduced dishes to us and took her time to let us know what to expect from the dishes. She was absolutely easy to talk to, more than happy to answer any questions that you may have. Note: There are items that aren't on the menu. Strike a conversation with her, and she'll gladly tell you about the items that weren't shown on the menu. The coffee took a while before their ready, but absolutely worth the wait. My advice is to order another drink together with the coffee to sip while you wait. The vermicelli bowl is bee hoon based, soaked, and marinated with beautiful flavours of Vietnam! If this is your first time eating Vietnam cuisine, this would be a great introduction, something familiar to welcome you into a new cuisine. The only thing people might not be accustomed to is that the vermicelli bowl is served cold. Overall, it's a must try! Even if you're new to Vietnamese cuisine, this would be a great place to start.

Loved the fried spring rolls, super crispy and tasty. The fresh rolls were also super generously stuffed with prawn and pork. Overall really yummy & will be back. The owner is super sweet too :) Only downside for me was the ventilation (the place was abit smoky)

A nice local food place serving Viet dishes. Like the Lemongrass Chicken Vermicelli Bowl & Fresh Rolls. Ordered the paper Pizza series: Lemongrass Chicken n Mentaiko Crabmeat which is small unique bites. Tried the Viet Coffee Phin Affogato as well. Give it a try !
