Starting early in the morning to cater to those who are off to work before sunrise, their main demographic of customers are not Chinese. This tells you its not "just another prata shop". In fact, I went without even knowing the names of what I wanted to order. And instead the first time I just pointed to the display and ended up ordering Poori, whilst the second time with the help of another customer, managed to order the onion Uttapam as well. Both times did not disappoint, likewise both dishes were beautiful to the eye as well as the taste buds. The Poori was light and not oily, and the Uttapam was aesthetically pleasant as well as being very fragrant and flavourful. The accompanying Dahl and yoghurt sauce (I don't know the name) were great as they weren't spicy - I can't take spice. I personally favoured the potato Dahl as it paired really well with my Poori. The best part is that it's very affordable for a filling breakfast! Do take note that the waypoint on Google maps is wrong. The coffeeshop is located just behind the multi storey carpark. So if you're driving just go to level one and walk along the walls behind the MSCP and you'll see lights from the coffeeshop. @goodfoodwrite - instagram & YouTube

Chettinad King is my go to in this area for authentic South Indian cuisine. I've been more than 20 times and will recommend the thosai, idli, chapati, vadai, and especially the onion pakora when it's freshly fried. Prices are very fair and quality is better than your neighbourhood mamak. You can ask for an omelette which isn't on the menu if you're looking for a comforting breakfast meal.

The chapati is really nice. It’s slightly sweet and warm when they served it. It’s not oily. I loved the food. I just “anyhow” order, point at the food not knowing exactly what I’m gonna get except that I see onions and I eat onions lol. An interesting find in the neighborhood estate truly. Very quiet place when I can on a Sunday late evening. This meal costed me $6.50 :)
