A very well hidden treasure. Pretty, yummy food prepared by very talented chefs in a nice comfortable atmosphere. A wonderful culinary experience that captures the essence of our local food and gave me a different perspective of what the dishes could be. A lot of attention was given to the details of each dish and you can tell a lot of “heart” was put into it. Really appreciated the energy and sincerity of the chefs too. The sake pairing was amazing. Menu changes every two months, will definitely be back to try their new menu!!

A delightful culinary experience. Local Omakase with a touch of Japanese. I loved the tsukune with black chicken garlic soup, squid rojak and crab chawanmushi. The dessert was outstanding - banana fritters with home made macadamia ice cream. The restaurant is in a small shophouse in Serangoon Gardens and only seats 14. Reservations open on the first of every alternate month. The next window is 1 Feb for March and April 2023. Set your alarms. You won’t regret it.

I’ve had the privilege of dining here a couple of times including once this month. It’s pretty difficult to get reservations if your fingers aren’t nimble enough. Out of the few times they were, every meal was a memorable hit. Their cuisine borrows influences from Singapore, Malaysia and sometimes Japan and I can’t really find another place serving anything similar which makes this place really special. Every bite is an explosion of flavours, yet delicate enough to not de-sensitise the palate. I would always come back if ever presented the opportunity.
