Made a reservation for 6pm on Saturday evening. Family of 5.We stayed nearby and finally get to come and try this beautiful restaurant. Was a bit worried when I saw the recent reviews. However, the whole experience was above expectations.We enjoyed our meal. Food was awesomely delicious especially the BBQ items... Tempura was done to perfection. Very fresh ingredients. Price slightly on the high side, but for the food, ambience and great service, I think it's worth.

We hosted our son’s birthday here as it was in the theme of a Japanese anime. The service Kevin (restaurant director) and his crew provided meticulous attention to our needs and the setup of the place was brilliant. Kevin saw that we were trying to stick a banner on the glass and he immediately ask his staff to clean the glass panel for us so that there will be no dust marks during photo taking. He and his crew are extra attentive to our elderly guests which makes its welcoming. Experiences like that should not be taken for granted, they really put in effort to help us create an amazing memory. I will definitely come back for regular meals and perhaps the next event. Celebrated my wife’s birthday and our wedding anniversary at the restaurant with my family. Absolutely one of the best Japanese food that we have had in a while. We ordered a monthly special pork curry set, buta Don set, a tempura udon set, mixed skewer platter and a chawanmushi. The pork curry was tasty although we would have preferred it to be a little spicier. The buta Don set was peppered with stir fried onions that added that lovely sweetness to the don. Skewers were grilled to perfection - had that nice char smell without the food being burnt. My kids loved the chicken thigh skewer and we ended up ordering more. The tempura set was my favourite dish. The tempura was fresh and perfectly cooked. You could taste the freshness of the prawns beneath the batter which by the way, was fragrant - no hint of pungent oily smell typically of oil that had been reused many times over. The udon tasted yummy and had that nice springy texture that you would find in udon restaurants in Japan. Definitely a pleasant dining experience for us.
