My second visit to the restaurant. Food is as good as I remember. There is a few new menu and the "pig trotter dish" is so good! Surprisingly yummy without the pig trotter itself. The tofu cereal and monkey head dish is good too ! Waitress was friendly and recommended us the new menu. Price is reasonable. Only thing , they don't take reservation, only walk in. We go slightly later for lunch, food and service was prompt. Will definitely visit again.

Nestled in the heart of Tai Seng, Leaf Corner offers an exceptional vegetarian dining experience that deserves every bit of its five-star rating. From the moment I walked in, the casual ambiance immediately put me at ease. The culinary adventure kicked off with their signature dish, the Mock Fish Head Curry. This intriguing creation blended ladyfingers, eggplant, pineapple, and fried tau pok in (IIRC) a milk-based curry that was a unique departure from the usual coconut milk variety. The rich and creamy curry was a burst of flavors, and the use of milk added a velvety texture that beautifully complemented the medley of vegetables and mock proteins. Also ordered, the crispy mock prawns that were expertly coated in a golden cereal crust, providing a delightful contrast in textures. Equally impressive was the Char Kway Teow (multiple mentions in Google Reviews before I visit), the smoky aroma and an impeccable balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors, note: little spicy, can opt for non-spicy version in QR online menu. For Stir-Fry Spinach, tasty, fresh & crispness. Paired with fluffy brown rice, it made for a wholesome and satisfying combination that catered to both taste and nutrition. The attentive staff were quick to respond making the dining experience all the more enjoyable. I do not usually frequent vegetarian restaurants , Leaf Corner stands out as a gem for its good variety menu and execution. Leaf Corner's unassuming charm, delectable dishes, and wallet-friendly approach are a winning combination. Plus, the absence of 10% service charge was a pleasant surprise.

mind-blowing vegetarian place! leaf corner is located at 2nd floor of irving place and overlooking the traffics on the road. the interior is also bright and spacious, with many seats available by the floor-to-ceiling windows, and it honestly seems to me just as good as some atas clarke quay restaurants by the river haha we tried the char kway keow ($7) and the bak kut teh with rice ($7.5). the char kway teow is such a pleasant surprise: it is cooked with lots of liao and interestingly it’s spicy :o I’m not sure if this is a usual way of cooking ckt but it tastes really good to me! the bak but teh, on the other hand, is much milder in taste - it is not the white pepper kind but that with a strong herby flavor. i quite like the soup but i feel the ingredients, which are mostly mushrooms, are not the most suitable as they do not capture the flavor as much as things like beancurd skin, which unfortunately they do not give a generous amount of. that being said, the food overall is still tasty and definitely worth a try :P
