Singapore｜King of Fried Rice

Pork chop was piping hot so is the fried rice. I ordered the Tom yum fried rice, there’s a nice hint of Tom yum taste yet not too overpowering. Must try! But abit oily la hope can be less oily

Nice fried rice! Price wise just like what some western food stall selling, not too expensive. They opened at 11.30am and I started joining the already 10 person queue at 10mins before. Total time for the queuing, ordering and receiving was around 30-40mins. Not that bad as compared to some who waited 1-2hrs. Taste of the rice is good and the pork cutlet is definitely more tender and boneless. Chilli is good and spicy. Overall a good try if waiting time is around 30mins.

If you did not already know, there is a showdown which one is better- Ding Tai fung or King of fried rice? Now conveniently located in Sengkang, it makes the effort easier for us to venture and try their famous fried rice, without going down to golden mile. When they say they are the king, I have no doubt it is one of the best for this price point. Imagine a plate of delicious restaurant std fried rice that cost only $6.50. To us, this is good enough liao. Caution, do prepare to wait 30 mins to an hour for your meal though. If you have some time to spare, you will not be disappointed with their pork cutlet with Tom yum flavored rice and egg fried rice with shrimp. Each grain of rice taste of the deliciousness of egg.
