THE BEST prata I’ve ever had. Hands down. You have got to try the kurma mutton (Wed, Fri-Sun only) and the coin prata. Personally I also really liked the butter chicken. The lady boss is also very nice and a great host, can really tell she cares about the quality of food. ❤️ will be back for sure!

Gosh this is the best plain prata I have had! The appearance seems so crunchy piece of dough and one mouthful bite of the pastry crispiness max even my son is loving it! Only egg prata slightly soften and plain taste. But overall truly enjoying the roti prata and will patronize again!! Okay verdict 9/10 with their red chilli and fish curry gravy. Staff are proactive honestly worth the waiting queue than the Jalan Kayu.

Service gets pretty slow when it’s full house, I mean which eating place doesn’t? Other negative aspects I can think of is it’s non air-conditioned, and you’ll definitely smell like you came out of the kitchen when you leave, like most sarabat stalls. It’s all good besides these 3 points. Take in the kampung atmosphere when you dine in, I’ve loved this place since I was in secondary school, and now my secondary school boy loves it! This makan joint has a history over 3 decades. Survived through SARS, Global financial crisis and now Covid. The crispy crackle on the outside, fluffy on the inside prata menu drew many followers over the years, and notably different from other places are the sambal chili and fish curry that comes standard with every piece of prata (except dessert prata). There are several other makanan varieties to taunt your palate, Nasi briyani of different meats, murtabak, thosai, naan, Maggie/Mee/Kway Teow etc goreng, Indian Rojak and kebabs. Drinks are aplenty (no happy hour 😂), with teh tarik and teh Halia being the most popular. Pop by to try if you haven’t yet. I’m sure it’ll be a pleasant dining experience.
