More Comments at Google MapI loved the service here. The waiter first checked if it was our first time here, and gave us time to look at the menu first. There's a drinks menu of teas, and for alcohol, I guess you can pretty much just walk right up to the fridge. Having seen the reviews here, I had to get the OG Broccoli ($7). Deep fried tender broccoli which tasted pretty good at first. However, the charred bits were rather bitter, and so we requested for mayonnaise to go with it. The sweetness of the mayo complemented the broccoli pretty well. I also got the Crab Tobiko Pasta ($20), which I loved for the mouthfeel and texture that the dish brings. You get generous chunks of blue swimmer crab meat, and also black flying fish roe. Overall flavour profile is good.
Visited on a Tuesday night! Had the tater tots and charred broccolini! Taters tots were very super crispy and super fragrant! the pairing with the sour cream was spot on! The charred broccolini were seasoned on point and just the right amount of crunch and char. Thoroughly enjoyed the starters. We also ordered the crab tobiko Pasta and beef! They were super generous with the crab and I loved it! The beef took quite a while due to them having to ensure the quality of the cook, but Unfortunately we had an appointment and didn’t have time to taste the beef served hot and had to take away. The service recovery was super on point! Amazing place with an amazing crew of chefs and staff who puts quality above all. Would definitely visit again!
The industrial concept of the restaurant had a chic vibe to it. Service was prompt and the food and drinks were quick to arrive. Sea salt broccoli was unique; can still taste the sweetness in th stem though deep fried. The crab ball portion was generous and filled with crab meat that had a nice robust flavor and still moist. The Miso-Marinated Sea Bass was most impressive; that’s what we felt. The crisp skin and tender flesh of the fish had no fishy smell and the balance of the dish was great! Chilli Crab pasta was a bit too spicy for us but we forewarned by the chef upfront so it’s all cool cos we still went ahead. The sauce was delicious and infused well with the al dente pasta. Please come support their humble establishment. It is definitely worth your trip:)
