Very homely food in a cosy homely environment. Very affordable and value for money food choices. I recommend the Ayam Buah Keluak and the Mee Siam. Super delicious and good portions. Fresh prawns were used and the sambal was like what I had. The buah Keluak was really a good portion as well.

Their set lunch meal is affordable and good, at $13.50. I had the ayam buah keluak, bakwan kepeiting, chap chye, and sambal telur. Being a Peranakan, I can say the dishes are very nice, brings back very good memories of home-cooked Peranakan food by my grandma. The staff also reminds you of a typical Teochew Baba household. The Buah Keluak is very flavorful, the Buah Keluak meat is already taken out of the shell for you, no shards and very clean. Bakwan kepeiting is meaty and peppery as it should be. 10/10 would recommend.

The Laksa Lemak n Tauhu Goreng were good but Chendol was too bland. But it'll be nice to have taupok added in laksa. Busy place but food waiting was reasonable. Auntie nice to ask if chendol to be served later 👍
