Singapore｜Hajime Tonkatsu & Ramen (Thomson Plaza)

We were very pleased by the excellent food quality and the prompt, responsive service. We enjoyed the Premium Pork Loin Katsu Set ($24.90+), which came with a crispy and deep-fried pork cutlet as well as unlimited rice, cabbage, and miso soup. You can choose from a wide variety of options at the restaurant, including chicken karage and other katsu sets.The gyoza is delicious, juicy, and flavorful. It's a nice place to get together with loved ones.

I was pleasantly surprised after having a meal here. I didn’t expect much since it is a lesser known tonkatsu place. But after eating here, I would gladly recommend it to anyone who loves pork tonkatsu and ramen. Food portions are sufficient. The tonkatsu had a crispy crust while the pork stayed juicy and succulent. I appreciate the free flow tea and water -- they're one of the few places that still offer free tea and water 🙂.

Came here for lunch today. Ordered the Tonkatsu Pork fillet set which comes with rice, soup, appetizer and fruits. This Tonkatsu set comes with free-flow rice and cabbage. I like that the Tonkatsu pork is deep-fried nicely and not too oily. My boy ordered the Kyushu Ramen and the soup is rich and flavorful and there are like 5 pieces of Cha Shu which has a nice smoky charred flavour. Green tea (hot or cold) is on the house. Overall we enjoyed the food here and will definitely be back again!
