The wanton mee stall always has a long queue. People mainly order the wanton mee or the lor mee but it also sells fried chicken noodles. Got the wanton mee at $4.50. The portion of noodles is not a lot , good amount of char siew (not fatty or chewy) and a small piece of fried wanton. It also comes with a bowl of soup with 2 small dumplings. The coffee stall sells not too bad coffee and soft boiled eggs which are nicely cracked into a bowl for you. The Kaya toast could have been crispier (in comparison with Ya Kun). Not easy to find a cool table on a Sunday morning. Quite a crowd here. There are quite a variety of foods here. The giant fans help to circulate the air in the hawker centre.

📍 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐒𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐞 • 𝐂𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 • 𝐓𝐞𝐚 (𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐰𝐤𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠) Starting our morning right with 𝙎𝙚𝙩 𝘼 ($3.50) that came with 4 kaya toast pieces, 2 eggs and a kopi ‘o’, and 𝙎𝙚𝙩 𝘽 ($2.70) which was similar but without the drink ☀️ Kaya butter toast: Very crispy thin! Just the right thickness of butter, kaya leaned on the less sweet spectrum but could be more fragrant. I liked how they used the traditional brown bread though number of butter slices was inconsistent. Eggs: Yolks were soft and creamy 🍳 Overall, my dad preferred this to Ya Kun due to its affordability and decent quality!!
