Singapore｜Mariners' Corner Restaurant

I've been a loyal patron of this authentic western restaurant for over a decade, ever since I was a kid. My family and I have always frequented this place. We even followed the restaurant when it relocated to a new spot. This year, I decided to celebrate my birthday here, and as always, the food was amazing, especially the Sirloin steak with black pepper. What truly sets Mariners' Corner apart is their baked potato. The staff takes it to the next level by topping it with sour cream, scallions, and garlic/bacon, a unique touch you won't find anywhere else. The ambiance is delightful, and I must mention the exceptional manager, who was not only very friendly but also incredibly sweet. The attentive waiters surprised me with a delightful birthday cake and sang 'Happy Birthday.' It was a heartwarming touch that made my day. I highly recommend Mariners' Corner, and I will most definitely visit again.

We had a weekend family lunch at Mariner’s Corner recently. This is probably one of the few family-styled Hainanese western restaurant remained in Singapore. The friendly and cheerful service crew housed 10 of us in a cozy corner of the restaurant. I have to say everyone of us enjoyed our time/dine here to the fullest bit. We ordered most of the items in the menu and none of it disappointed us. The soups were flavourful and creamy (the kids loved it), the escargots and mussels were creamy and soft. The kids also enjoyed the wings and their entrees. This is a highly recommended place for a family makan outing location. We will revisit again if chance permits, many thanks for hosting us Mariner’s Corner.

Extremely charming and rustic old school restaurant. Service staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. We ordered the Hainanese Pork Chop and the Fisherman's Pan. Food prices were affordable and portion sizes were generous. Will be back again!
